With less than two weeks to go before the renewal deadline, here is a quick look at current renewal statistics.

Real Estate Professionals – 36% renewed

Mortgage Professionals – 31% renewed

Real Estate Appraisal Professionals – 31% renewed

Real Estate Brokerages – 47% renewed

Mortgage Brokerages – 44% renewed

More than 95% of brokers who have completed the renewal process this year have indicated to the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) that they “Strongly Agree” or “Agree” the renewal process this year was an improvement over previous years.

All industry professionals must renew prior to September 30. From now until the September 30 renewal deadline, RECA Consumer and Industry Services staff are available from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, by phone and email, to assist industry professionals with renewal matters.

Already this month, CIS staff have responded to just over 2,000 telephone calls and emails.
