Visit RECA at Law Day 2017

Law Day is this Saturday, April 22 at the Calgary Courts Centre, and the Real Estate Council of Alberta is participating for the third year in a row.

Law Day is a national event that takes place every April, and serves as an opportunity for the public to learn about the law, the legal profession, and the legal institutions that form the cornerstones of Canadian democracy.

RECA is looking forward to engaging with Albertans who want to learn more about the institutions they interact with on a regular basis. Sharing RECA’s mandate of consumer protection with consumers is an important part of our regulatory work.

There will be more than 30 exhibitors at the Calgary Courts Centre for this year’s Law Day event.

Law Day activities include mock trials, courthouse tours, open citizenship courts, as well as public speaking and mock trial contests for junior high and high school students. Families are encouraged to attend as there are activities geared towards children.

RECA will be at Law Day from 9 am to 3 pm.
