Industry Council Election Results and Public Appointments

RECA’s Industry Council elections ran from November 22-27, 2023, resulting in 3,620 voters (19.3% of eligible voters) electing nine licensees to the four Industry Councils. In addition to the nine elected licensees, three licensees, who were the only eligible candidates for their respective Industry Council seats, were acclaimed.

The Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction (the Minister) has also re-appointed 3 public members to the RECA Board of Directors, and 2 public members to each Industry Council, except for one seat on the Residential Property Manager Industry Council, which is currently vacant and will be filled by a public member appointed by the Minister.

The independent Election Officer, MNP, supervised and certified the Industry Council election results, which are listed below, along with the public members reappointed by the Minister.

All elected and appointed members will begin their terms on December 1, 2023.
