RECA Approves Four More Exam Centres

The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is pleased to announce that four more exam centres have been added to its network of approved centres that provide proctoring services for its exams.

Learners may only book their exams through a RECA-approved exam centre after they have received their Permission to Write (PTW) or Permission to Re-Write (PTR) from RECA Education. Learners are encouraged to schedule their exam well in advance to ensure there is space at the exam centre when they wish to write.  The fee for proctoring varies among exam centres and is the responsibility of the learner.

RECA has also begun exploring the potential of remote exam proctoring to accommodate out-of-province learners or learners in remote areas of the province. If this technology meets RECA’s exam security and authentication standards, it would give learners access to their exams almost any time and from almost anywhere. Updates on this initiative will be posted on the RECABlog when available.
